Last week, Groundhogg Inc. finalized a deal to acquire HollerBox, a small WordPress plugin with 6,000 active installs that helps site owners create popups and lead generation forms on their sites.
HollerBox was the project of Scott Bolinger of AppPresser. Scott posted about his interest in selling HollerBox through the Post Status slack, and we reached out within minutes and struck a deal.

It’s been a year since HollerBox or its premium add-ons received a major update, and under our ownership, we plan to inject new value by heavily investing in the user experience for free and paid users.
In the coming months, we’ll be overhauling the free HollerBox plugin & premium version with an updated UI and competitive features, revising pricing, adding additional plans, improving integrations and compatibility, and creating a better popup experience for HollerBox users.

HollerBox came at the right time for Groundhogg! As we experience growth in our CRM business, we often receive feature requests for a native popup & lead capture system. HollerBox will fit said need for our customers, and we anticipate that HollerBox customers have a similar need when it comes to CRM.
