Groundhogg 3.3.3 is here! This new update comes with some new features that are meant to make our product’s usability even smoother.
What can you expect? Column Preset Buttons have been added to make toggling groups easier and we have a new tool for generating fake data.
🏛️ Presets for managing columns in the list
If you have many custom fields or lots of integrations the column management in the contacts list view might seem unwieldy.
In this latest update, we’ve added Column Preset Buttons which make toggling groups of columns on/off quick and easy.
Currently the available presets are custom fields (organized by property group) and the default columns. We’ll be adding support for integrations and addons down the line.
We also plan on adding support for custom presets, but later after we fix some other stuff first.
📊 New tooling for generating fake data
We’ve begun adding tooling to generate fake data bundled with the core plugin to facilitate the easy creation of demo sites with non-empty dashboards.
So far we can fake…
- Basic contact data
- Broadcast data with opens, clicks, and unsubscribes
- Funnel data with opens, clicks, and unsubscribes
- Form submissions
- Page visits
Currently, these tools are only accessible via WP-CLI, but we plan on creating a REST API and GUI to make it possible to generate authentic-looking fake data from the dashboard.
Our hope is that this will be helpful for agencies and freelancers wanting to give attractive demos to potential clients.
